San Luis, AZ – May 14, 2025 — Harvest Preparatory Academy proudly celebrated the groundbreaking of its newest campus in San Luis, Arizona on Tuesday, marking a major milestone in the school’s continued growth and commitment to expanding high-quality education across the region.
The groundbreaking ceremony brought together school leadership, local dignitaries, students, families, and community supporters for an inspiring evening of celebration. Attendees gathered to witness this important step in Harvest Prep’s mission to serve the growing educational needs of the San Luis community.
Mrs. Deborah Ybarra, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Harvest Preparatory Academy, delivered heartfelt remarks during the ceremony, reflecting on the school’s journey and vision for the future. “This new campus represents more than just buildings—it’s about opportunity, innovation, and continuing to nurture the future leaders of Arizona,” said Mrs. Ybarra.
The San Luis campus will serve students in grades K–12 and will feature state-of-the-art classrooms, STEAM-focused labs, collaborative learning spaces, and a strong focus on academic excellence, character development, and career readiness.
Dr. Mario Ybarra, Founder, was also honored for his visionary role in establishing the foundation of Harvest Prep over 20 years ago. Their shared legacy continues to inspire the school’s growth and innovation.
With the city of San Luis continuing to grow, the new campus is a timely and strategic investment in the community. Construction is expected to move quickly, with the school aiming to welcome its first students on the new campus in the 2026–2027 school year.
