My name is Diana Romero. I began my educational career at Harvest Preparatory Academy in 2012 as a first grade teacher. I have a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Educational Leadership. I taught for four years before accepting a position as an Instructional Coach for K-5. Over the next four years, I served as an Instructional Coach mentoring and supporting teachers with instruction. This year, I am humbled and honored at the opportunity presented to me to be the Site Director for Elementary. My goal is to continue the excellence that Harvest provides by working together with parents, students, and staff to ensure academic success for ALL students!

YUMA CAMPUS SITE DIRECTOR 6-12

My name is Yi-Ching Chiang, I am currently the Middle school and High school site director for Harvest Preparatory Academy (HPA). This year marks my sixteenth year in education and my fourteenth year at HPA. I joined the HPA team in 2006, and started teaching high school math 13 years ago.

I grew up in Taiwan and received my undergraduate degree from Tunghai University in Food Science. After graduating from college, I began my educational career at several school districts in Taiwan for two years teaching Math and English as second language. In 2003, I came to the United States to pursue a degree for my graduate program. In 2005, I earned my master’s degree in General Education from Western Kentucky University.

My passion and love for education is based on my uncompromising belief that all students are capable of learning when given a positive and respectful learning environment. As well as a committed and focused educational team and a supportive family. I always believe that we should build a positive and respectful relationship with everyone within our community. I will support and encourage both students and teachers to reach their highest potential. As HPA’s mission and core value, all children are capable of success. I am here to support you and your family throughout this year, and many more to come.

SPED DIRECTOR

I was born and raised in Mexicali., Mexico . I worked there as a store manager for 15 years. I am married with 2 beautiful young adult children. I came to the USA in 2004 and worked as a paraprofessional at Yuma district one for 7 years . I graduated from NAU as a K-8 General Education teacher and K-12 Special Education teacher.

I have worked at HPA since 2011. I taught 3rd grade. I became the site director in 2015. I am currently, District Special Education Director

Adelita Espinoza

SAN LUIS CAMPUS SITE DIRECTOR K-8

Mrs. Adelita Espinoza, Harvest Preparatory Academy Site Director in San Luis. AZ. Mrs., Espinoza, a fantastic addition to the team having over 20 years in education. She began her career with Harvest in September of 2009, in the Math department as well as Reading. Later, she continued to shine and was promoted to a Math interventionist in 2010 for Middle School, with her excellent skills as an educator, she became a Lead teacher, earning the title of “In-House Teacher of the Year”, having the honor to teach grades Kinder thru 8th. As an Alumni of the University in Santa Barbara, CA she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in History and Spanish. Later, earning her Master’s in Education with an emphasis in English a Second language.

Mrs. Espinoza is a firm believer that all students can succeed at high levels and maximize their full potential. Passionate that all children deserve the best education, she supports the building of the foundation to be the future leaders of their communities. Mrs. Espinoza has made it her lifelong commitment to ensure that all children, no matter their circumstance, are provided a rich education. Her vision is aligned with Harvest and Its mission, guiding each student into a high level of academic achievement and success. She dedicates her time to develop their Personal integrity for their family, community, school and self; and to attain this success through an academically rich rigorous educational program.

Mrs. Espinosa continues to ensure that students have the skills necessary to compete in a global society where technology is a vital tool in one’s everyday life, as a means of sharing ideas and new inventions. Her experience and unyielding passion for education will always bring to the forefront that education is empowerment for all students as it provides numerous opportunities for a better livelihood, in the pursuit of happiness and freedom, established by this great country of opportunity.
